Hot on the heels of 21st Club’s partnership with the Hyundai A-League, 21st Club have now partnered with the Norwegian League to help support the development of the Norwegian academy system to drive productivity across the top two tiers of Norwegian football.
The partnership has seen 21st Club adapt Evolution – their platform that helps clubs manage their player costs, strategically plan the player pipeline and analyse the impact of future scenarios, in addition to rationalising processes across the clubs – to help identify and reward those teams who are most effective at developing and providing opportunities to young players.
The Head of Technology at the Norwegian Professional League, Kenneth Wilsgård, is excited about the prospect of efficiently monitoring the productivity of club academies live. “We’ve really enjoyed working with 21st Club. Their technology is highly differentiated and has enabled us to automate our complex scoring system into their Evolution system” said Wilsgård. “We are looking forward to benefitting from significant efficiency savings while also helping to encourage positive behaviour among our clubs in developing the future stars of the Norwegian Professional League”.
Ben Marlow, Head of Football at 21st Club is equally excited about the new partnership with TFS. “It’s been great working with the Norwegian Professional League,” said Marlow. “The Norwegian League is accustomed to thinking differently in order to compete and are therefore aligned with our own approach. We’ve relished playing a small part in the development of Norway’s future stars, as well as helping the League operate as efficiently as possible”.
