A club might ask this for one of two reasons.

Some clubs want case studies and fall victim to social proofing: we want to keep pace with our rivals; we mustn’t get left behind.

Others want to hear ‘no one’, and to be assured that they’re the first mover: we want a competitive edge on our rivals; we must have the upper hand.

Knowing what other clubs are doing is useful. Knowing what other clubs aren’t doing is advantageous.
